Christmas Table of Wishes

Our kitchen is set with a casual Christmas welcome

I kept things classic and rustic to tie in with our Mantel.

I used a simple plaid runner and Christmas plates picked up over the last few years at Target.

I went to my favorite old wooden box and filled in with fresh greenery, pinecones, door knobs, bells, ornaments and candle filled mason jars.

I wrapped the larger jars in a burlap type red ribbon found at Michael’s.

Each person gets their own wish to make for the Christmas season.

And if they are not sure what to wish for, they can always wish for magic.

I am pretty sure that is my wish for this Christmas.

I found the "wish" and "hope" tickets in a notebook, with other tickets as well, in the scrapbook department of Hobby Lobby.

The napkins are wrapped with a similar type of ribbon in green, also found at Michael's, held together with glue dots and a vintage leather button, also held in place with a glue dot.

Easy. Peasy. Done.

I have found that now that we have a sit down island in the kitchen, we eat there more often. But when we do sit down at the table, the meals tend to be filled with more laughter and conversation, we stay a little longer. So here’s to many meals at this table this Christmas…Cheers!
