Camp Maple Session Tickets
Description
This is our fourth year of Camp Maple and this year we have an exciting change. Not only will campers be creating a project to create each week, they will also be creating a "cooking" project each week as well!
We will start each session with a craft, have a section of group play while we will switch our materials over for the cooking portion of our camp.
WHAT: Led by Counselor and First Grade Teacher, Emily Putnam, and Chef Kay Volpe, Camp Maple is a chance for kids to experience crafting, nature, and cooking all in one. We believe that craft projects should be created as a child sees it not how we want them to be completed. With that in mind, our projects are designed to allow a child’s creativity to be the main focus. We will include all of the materials, an example, some guidance, and then encouragement. Our hope is that it will be a chance for you to take time with a child in your life to slow down and enjoy some time using your hands and being in nature.
WHO: Camp Maple is open to children ages 3 and up. All projects are designed to be completed by younger children as well as older children, with the understanding that older children might take more time and intent in the completion of their projects. All campers are required to be accompanied by an adult for the entire session. You are invited to enroll for one session, multiple sessions or all sessions.
WHERE: Camp Maple is being held at The Sugarhouse at Finding Home Farms, located at 140 Eatontown Road, Middletown, NY. All session are held outside under our covered patio area, rain or shine.
WHEN: Camp is being held on SIX Fridays this summer, starting at 10 am and finishing at about 11:00 to 11:30.
To allow us to properly plan and prepare for our camp, all session purchases are non-refundable.
NOTE: ALMOST ALL SESSIONS INCLUDE PAINT (WASHABLE), GLUE, ETC. SO PLEASE BE THOUGHTFUL OF HOW YOU DRESS YOUR CHILD.
ALLERGIES: PLEASE SEND US A NOTE IF YOUR CHILD HAS A FOOD ALLERGY WE NEED TO BE AWARE OF. WE ARE A PEANUT-FREE FACILITY AND WILL DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE ALL NEEDS. IF FOR SOME REASON WE FIND IT WOULD NOT BE SAFE FOR YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE BASED ON THEIR ALLERGY, WE WILL PROVIDE A FULL REFUND.
