I am feeling very impatient. In so many parts of the country, schools are already out for summer - and we still have more than a month left. I am not sure I am going to make it.
In the meantime, I am going to be dreaming of flowers, being poolside and twinkly lights all around me.
Looking ahead, I realized that for us, summer means a whole heck of a lot of birthdays. Like, really, you don't want me to bore you with the list so you will just have to trust me. I have learned over the years that it is not worth completely stressing myself out by over doing birthday celebrations and then not even having the energy to celebrate the person the party is all about. Now that I have gotten a little smarter, I joined Wayfair to share some of my ideas for keeping summer birthday celebrations simple and easy. In fact, forget just birthdays, this is the case for all summer celebrations.
I have spent the last few weeks working with Wayfair sharing some ideas and projects - but as something a little different - through video.
