Christmas Tour - Farmhouse Style
It is that time of year! I love sharing our Christmas tour with all of you each year. This year, things are a little more casual, and I think a little bit more fun. As I mentioned before, I chose not to be part of a group tour of homes this year because I didn't want to miss my timeline if we were busy with the wholesale side of our business. So this year, it is just me. I hope you don't mind! Without further adieu, welcome to our home for our farmhouse style Christmas tour! 
Everything started with our vintage sign mantel. From there, I brought in pops of red, evergreens, holiday pillows and just kept it pretty casual. 
On our chair, sharing the space with our beautiful pillow from Lucy at Craftberry Bush is a fun scarf garland instead of a throw blanket. 
On our coffee table is a vintage box I recently found that is backed with well-worn galvanized metal. I set it up more like a tray and added a cloche and one of our Lori Mitchell Santas. 
For the cloche, I just added a bottle brush tree and surrounded it with some small peppermint candies. Again, keeping it fun. 
I also set small votives inside of mason jars and filled the space in between with peppermint candies as well. I set them on a tray with some greenery and our Joyeux Noel candle. It looks pretty and smells delicious! 
I will share more details on our tree tomorrow, but at the base I filled a galvanized bin with holiday necessities for when we are watching Christmas movies - a cozy throw blanket, extra pillows and a stuffed plaid bear. 
In our kitchen I brought in some fresh herb plants in galvanized container and tied some baker's twine around it. 
I brought our chalkboard in from the front porch and hung our Joyeux Noel stocking form from it with some jingle bells, ribbon and greenery. 
On our kitchen table, I placed my favorite galvanized tray with some greenery, peppermints, apples and mixed nuts - all of the necessary holiday snacking materials. 
On our gallery wall area, I brought in the rest of my Lori Mitchell collection and just kept things pretty fun and casual. 
I was so pleased that so many of them fit in the tray I have hung on my wall like a shadow box. 
In our dining room, everything started with our snow globe Christmas village centerpiece that I placed on our striped table runner. 
I simple placed some vintage red ornaments in our hutch and called it done. 
In our living room, things are simple as well but mostly because this room is waiting for our real tree which we are getting today. Our Joy to the World and All is Calm pillows are on the sofa to bring it just a little bit of red, but everything else is fairly neutral. 
I added a sweet little stone church, some pinecones and greenery to our bar. You can find all of the details of how I made this in my book. 
On our coffee table is our vintage berry crate with some deer and then I added a tray with greenery and one of our soy candles. Blossom Soy Candle, Ginger Soy Candle, Fig Sage Soy Candle.
And that pretty much wraps up our tour. I am still doing a little bit of this and that on our outside decorations and I will share those soon. 
While I was taking my photos, I noticed Bailey continued to look longingly out the the dining room window. I couldn't help but think it looked like she was waiting for Santa.
