Hello fine friends – today I am back with another 10 Minute Decorating Idea – because really, sometimes, all we have is ten minutes to do a little zhushing in our homes. This time, I sharing another Sharpie Art idea – a Sharpie Art Planter. And I am pretty sure this will be my last Sharpie Art project for awhile. I am putting the Sharpie down - for now. I started with some plain white planters that I found at Ikea. These were great because they already had lines to keep me straight – but it is not necessary.
I chose to just freehand the words. On one I wrote the words to You Are My Sunshine, on another – “He loves me, he loves me not” and I did a pattern and “Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I love You”.On a total side note, when I was growing up, every spring, I totally pulled the flower petals of the dogwood blooms crossing my fingers that he really did love me. Back then, I was sure it was David. Turns out, I was only off a few letters – because now Dana loves me. But back to the project…
Right now, I just have some pretty bright blooms in them, but I think they will end up on my kitchen window sill with some herb plants in them. So easy and quick and a fun little addition to any room. If you would like to see the whole summer table, you can visit here.
