Halloween Door Decor
Over the past week, I have been showing you the Halloween wreaths I have been working on for my upcoming Home and Holiday Sale.
Today, I wanted to share two new wreaths with you.
For this one, the steps were easy once again.
I started with a black “evergreen” wreath that actually looked sad, it just needed fluffing.
I added the ribbon on the back for hanging
The orange and black polka dot is a sheer fabric cut in long strips and run through the wreath for some color and volume.
I used a black sheer ribbon that I hand stitched on one side to “ruffle” it and pull it into a flower shape. This added some depth and volume and I added one behind each of the colored ornaments.
I glued (with hot glue) the glittered leaves, the ornaments, and a glittered spider.
I found found with all of the wreaths, it is just about layering.
Of all the wreaths, this one was probably the most time consuming, but still relatively quick.
Next, was another orange and black wreath.
For this wreath, I began with a Styrofoam type wreath form.
I covered the whole thing in black ribbon.
Then, I went back and spaced out the orange lace print ribbon.
Then I added a black fabric flower, orange and black ornaments, black glittered branches, black feathers and glittered leaves.
Everything was again layered and attached with hot glue.
The glittered leaves and branches were from floral picks cut down to be more custom placed.
I tied on a coordinating patterned ribbon for hanging and it was finished.
And, since Rhoda is hosting a Fall Door Decor Party, I thought I would share all of the wreaths here together.
First, I shared my Black and Bling Wreath
Then I shared my Spooky Spider and Skeleton Wreath
