maple donut recipe
PANCAKE DONUTS WITH MAPLE GLAZE - Makes 12 donuts  
Ingredients:  
For the donuts  
2 cups Finding Home Farms Buttermilk Pancake Mix 
1 1/4 cups cold water 
1 large egg 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
For the maple glaze  
3/4 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar 
1/3 cup Finding Home Farms Rye Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup 
1 tablespoon heavy cream 
pinch of salt, to taste 
Preparation:  
In a medium bowl, combine Finding Home Farms Buttermilk Pancake Mix, water, egg,  vanilla and cinnamon. Whisk until ingredients are just combined. Spray donut pan with  cooking spray. Pour batter into prepared donut pans, filling each one a little more than  three-quarters full. Bake for 10 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to  
cool for 5 minutes, then tap the doughnuts out onto a sheet pan. 
While donuts are cooling, prepare glaze. In a small bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar,  Finding Home Farms Rye Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup, heavy cream and salt. Whisk until  ingredients come together and glaze is smooth.  
Dip each donut into maple glaze and place on a wire rack. Donuts are best served  immediately.
