Sometimes, there is a spot in your home that you know you want to do something with, but you just can not seem to ever figure it out. And then, one day you figure out that you can easily hang some kitchen items and make a cutting board kitchen gallery wall. And this could not have been any easier.Gather up your cutting boards, making sure they don’t weigh more than 2 pounds. I found mine at a mixture of places including Homegoods. One of them is vintage, which looks great, but I would not actually use for food prep. Start with some leather or suede lace or even twine will work. If your cutting board doesn’t already have a hole, simply drill one. .I used Command Brand
clear medium hooks.Simply remove the blue liner from the tab and attach it to the hook. Then remove the black liner and and attach the hook to the wall where you want it to be placed. Make sure you wash the area ahead of time with isopropyl alcohol to make sure to get the best hold with your Command hook.
Hold the hook in place for about 30 seconds to ensure a strong hold.Use the leather loop to hang your cutting boards.I also added the same leather lacing to a small display box and a muffin tin. Then I used a two Command Brand picture hanging strips
to hang the pie plate (make sure it is less than 3 pounds).Everything is hung by our galvanized window memo board
to complete the gallery wall. And now that corner that I just didn’t know what to do with, is a happy and friendly corner. I only use these boards decoratively, but this would also be a great way to store board that you used regularly. I would just make sure they were dry before hanging them back up.
