Vintage Toy Truck Tablescape

I have long been a fan of Becky, of Farmgirl Paints and her beautiful turquoise vintage truck on her table.

I have long been looking for my own, but I have yet to find one.

Until the other day, I found one, in my living room!

On our bookcase was my husband's truck from when he was a boy.

So this afternoon I pulled out a vintage box I found at Brimfield, and paid Becky the sincerest form of flattery - imitation.

And it is extra special since it was my husbands.

And it just goes to show you - sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you, you just can't see it!
