A Valentine Message
Not much has changed here in the Northeast. It is still really cold. There is still a lot of snow on the ground. But, we can just make out the slightest aroma of sugaring season on the horizon. A little bit of sun each day gives us hope, even when the wind is howling.
I have shared in the past that for Valentine’s Day, I give a special letter to my my husband and my kid’s telling them, not only that I love them, but why I love them. And this year, I thought I would write the same letter to you. I am so thankful for all of you and Valentine’s Day seemed like the perfect time to tell you so. So…. Dear Finding Home Reader, Thank you so much for showing up here. Whether it is one time through social media, occasionally or regularly, I am so thankful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and projects with you Every time even just one person is here, I am thankful. Your words of encouragement and kindness overwhelm me sometimes. There are so many comments that I just have to share out loud with my husband. Really, sometimes your words lift me up in a way I never knew was possible.
Thank you for caring enough to point out when you think I may have made a mistake or you don’t agree. Hearing those points are helpful too. Thank you so much for showing up so that this platform has allowed our family to build an ever evolving business. We would never be on the journey we are on without this blog. And to my fellow bloggers, thank you for the beautiful community we have created. I have learned the most and been inspired by my peers. So many bloggers have tried new things and forged new paths that have benefited us all. Thank you for always creating beautiful and inspiring projects that push me to work harder and try to do better. And to the group of core bloggers who started so long ago, before anyone fully knew what blogs were – thank you for paving the path for the rest of us. I am finding myself more and more being comfortable with who I am and who I am not. And so, with great pride I share – I am a sentimental mush pants. So thank you for letting me share more heart today and always. I wish you the happiest of Valentine’s Days. And if you don’t have a “Valentine”, I encourage you to reach out and spend the day with people who make you happy! With Love, Laura, aka Mush Pants
