Easy Summer Table Ideas - 4th of July
Hello Friends! Today I have joined with a whole group of bloggers to share red, white & blue ideas for food, decor and crafts. Make sure you scroll down to the bottom to see all of the projects. I decided to share some table ideas for the 4th of July, but with a little twist. I don't know about your, but I get overwhelmed with bins for every holiday. It just seems like more money to spend, more things to sort through and the worst part, more things to organize. So, I set out to create a fourth of July table setting with things I already had. Okay, I lied, I bought the ribbon. In my defense, I have a weakness for ribbon so I kind of "had to". I started with a red table runner that I have used in the summer, for Valentine's day and for Christmas. Today, it is a 4th of July runner. Then, I just started looking through my cabinets for color. What was blue, white or red? My everyday dishes happen to be blue (and with scenes of US history so that makes it even better) transfer ware (Liberty Blue). However, this could have easily worked with white plates as well. I added a dish towel, a plain white napkin and even some blueberries. If I need more red, I could have worked with raspberries or apples. The white unbreakable stemless glasses are from our shop. It was all pulled together with the ribbon of red, white and blue. See, I told you I needed the ribbon! I hope in sharing this with you today you might be inspired to look things you already own and find ways to make them work for the fourth of July, or for any holiday really. Now, set your table and fill your home with friends and family! Thanks so much for reading and click on over to the other projects that inspire you.
