I have been dreaming, talking, yakking about doing this since 2003.

This Friday, I am finally doing it.

It is not completely as my perfect vision in my mind. But it is a great place to start.

I am pretty close to ready, at least as far as set up.

Mentally, I am so not ready, totally terrified no one will show up. Or they will show up and hate it all.

But, regardless of the outcome, I will be able to say that I did it. Another year will not have gone by with me talking about it but just too scared to do anything.

What I really should say is we did it. Infinite thanks to my husband, Mom, Step-dad, and of course, my “biggest fan”, my sister Lisa.

I have decided that I am giving myself permission to hate it. If when it is all said in done, if it wasn’t fun, if it ends up putting too much stress on my family, I will try a new direction.

But, I am not going to lie, I really do hope it goes well.

So, if you are wondering where I am this week, I will be off giving this all I have. Something has to give, so I hope you all don’t mind if I put you on hold for a little bit. When I get back, I will have a TON to share. I have painted and reworked so many pieces in the last two weeks it is crazy.
