Today I want to share with you about a chair makeover, but first...

I have been sharing projects with you this year of how we have been organizing.

And the first step of any organization project is the PURGE.

And we are making good progress – but there are two areas that need a PURGE of an epic proportion.

Our garage and the unfinished area of our basement.

I have been hoarding collecting stuff for so long from estate sales, yard sales, auctions and road sides.

And I justify it by mentioning how often I like to change out my decor.

But the reality is, there is so much and it is so disorganized – I can’t find half of what I need.

I would show you pictures, but it is just too cold out there – so you will just have to take my word for it.

So when the weather warms up – the purging and organizing will begin.

When Hoarding Pays Off – A Leather Chair Makeover

But, every once in a while – the hoarding collecting pays off.

I was sprucing up our foyer recently. I have always wanted a chair there but never figured out one that worked.

But just to see what I could come up with, I went into the garage and remembered about this amazing chair that I have had for some time, but I just didn’t know what to do with it. Actually there are two arm and two side chairs – not all of them very stable. I kept waiting to fix them up and find the perfect place to use all four – but in the meantime, I may as well use the one.

Seriously, carving, nail head, leather and gold print on the leather - all in one chair?

It makes me giddy.

Or course, this chair didn’t always look like this. If you would like to see how I got it looking so beautiful, you can visit Wayfair and see how Endust products got me here.

Thanks so much for reading and wishing you a great day.
