If I had to guess, I would say I don’t think I have had a week with more very specific commitments ever. We just finished concerts, dances, parties, confirmation and The Country Living Fair. It was overwhelming leading up to it all, but in the end, I was able to keep the “panic” at bay and really enjoy each and every event. It was a blend of family events and business events, and each made the other sweeter.
It does not go unrealized that we never would have been able to do any of the things we have the last week without the incredible support and help from our family, friends and our team. Everyone came through this last week and we are so blessed to be surrounded with so many amazing people. I am learning that not only does it take a village to raise children, but that same village helps build a business.
So, are you wondering how the County Living Fair went?
It was fantastic. And overwhelming. And so much was learned. And emotional – I just could not believe we were there. And that we were able to be part of the Earth Angels Studios booth. And that we were in the famous “line-up” at the start of the show.
We introduced our new product line of galvanized metal ornaments and our village and the response was great. We will be adding these to our online shop in the fall. Our candles sold like crazy.
And the great news is it seems like we will be at the Columbus, Ohio show and the Atlanta show this fall! We are so excited and I could just pinch myself!
Now for the “throwing in” part. Next week, Dana and I will be sharing a fun project with The Home Depot – a Father’s Day Football Toss.
Now, ours is going to look a little bit different than this one and we can’t wait to share ours. But you can make one too at a Home Depot Workshop on Saturday, June 18th.
The Home Depot offers Workshops at all of their locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels. There are three types of Workshops offered – Do-It- Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH) and Kids. Customers can learn how to build décor projects, how to make easy home repairs and how to operate tools through demonstrations and step-by-step instructions. Visit http://workshops.homedepot.com to learn more.

Stop back next Monday when I will share our project along with four other talented bloggers – I can’t wait to see their versions.
And so now that we are all caught up, I am going to go catch up on some sleep!
Thanks so much for reading!
