The Beauty of Thoughtful Gifts

I promise this is the last time I will talk about my birthday.  Even I am over me!

But, I thought it would be fun to tell you about the gifts I received.

Home cooked meals.

Visits from afar.

Old stuff, because, we all know I love old stuff.

Breakfast in bed.

Gift Certificates to my favorite places.

An awesome drill (nothing makes my Dad happier than to buy me tools).

Thoughtful jewelry.

Thoughtful books.

Loved collectables.

Gifts are fun, let’s not deny it.  But what was really great was the thoughtfulness that people put into what they gave me.

I made me feel understood and appreciated and that is the best gift we can ever received.

Not to single out one gift.  But this one is worth sharing in pictures.

My birthday 055

We have all seen these before, but this one is more than 100 pages.  It is my whole life in pictures.

  1. My two sisters and Mom gave me a book like this for my 30th last year. It's one of my favorite things I've ever recieved as a B-Day gift. Love it 🙂 Happy Birthday to you!
