Hello Y’all – I hope you are enjoying the summer and are in full swing enjoying it.
My kids have been in camps, more camps and then some camps. I kid, I kid – it is great that my kids haven’t been just staring at me telling me that they are bored. But, I am looking forward to slowing down and just relaxing at home.
Having a cold drink of water, lemonade or maybe even a cold glass of wine.
We have been spending a lot of time in our backyard – something quite new for us.
Last year we redid our backyard and even made the big decision to put in a pool.
And I have not yet shared any of those spaces with you. So, I thought this week I thought I would share our outdoor spaces.
And since I am not brave enough to jump into the “link-party pool” (for the same reason I never have a Tupperware party – so afraid no one will show up!), I thought I would at least put it out there that I would love if you would like to share your favorite part of your outdoor space.
Where do you relax and sip a cold drink?
So, if you would like, send me an email and I will share a grouping of YOUR outdoor spaces next week.
Sounds easy peasy lemon squeezy right?
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

What a lovely summertime drink station! Lavender and lemon are so pretty together. ..It’s picture perfect 🙂 Beautiful post Laura!
What beautiful pictures! I love your jars in the crate – I may copy this picture to the letter to create my own vignette. Ooo also the twine wrapped around the pitcher and cups – love it! I keep meaning to spend time in my yard more, but inevitably a bug comes along and ruins my plans.
So love your gorgeous backyard, patio and pool……Glad that you are enjoying it and kicking back, relaxing and enjoying life!!
Will send you some pics/links of my favorite places to enjoy the outdoors! Have a wonderful week!
Love what I’ve seen so far! Looking forward to seeing more……
I had to go get a drink of water, you made me thirsty just looking at that lemonade. I wish I had your outside space 🙂
Going back and catching up on your backyard posts!! So pretty!!!! What an undertaking that was but it is so beautiful!! The photo with your hubby and the tractor, pulling the deck made me chuckle. Something mine would do. 🙂 I have a postage stamp sized yard… so envious of your space. This summer, hubby tackled putting in a sprinkler system. We paid someone to pull the pipe and he did all the connections and putting in the heads, and hooking up the timer and valves. We did tweak our landscaping a little. We redid our bitty porch, repainted the front door adding new hardware and freshened up all the cedar trim on the front of the house with a few coats of paint. So nice to get all that stuff done.
