To my dear readers.
Christmas is tomorrow.
And I couldn’t let the day go without taking a moment to wish you the very merriest Christmas.
And if Christmas is not what you celebrate, or if it is, I wish you all the blessings of this holiday season.
And as a special gift, this is a recording of my 11 year-old daughter, Peanut, singing a song she wrote.
We wanted to share it with you.
(turn the volume up a bit, we are still working on capturing sound with video – and if it is still showing sideways, I am working on that too!)
“It’s Christmas Tomorrow”
May you have a blessed holiday season and I will see in 2014!
And as always – thanks for reading – and watching!
Oh my! What a wonderful Christmas gift ! We are so proud of her as we know you are, too. Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing the talents.
Wow! Thanks for sharing that with us! Now we’re really in the Christmas spirit here! -Aunt Nancy
What wonderful talents she has been blessed with. She wrote a meaningful song and sang it beautifully! Congratulations to her and blessings to your whole family!
That is fantastic! Thanks for letting everyone see the beautiful song you wrote! Merry Christmas to all! Aunt Linda

Oh thank you, Peanut, for sharing your song with us. It’s a special gift for Christmas Morning!! Blessings to you all!
That is a great song! Thank you! My daughter is 13 and received a keyboard from Santa. She has been in the dining room singing and playing and “composing” since 6am. Thanks for sharing!
I just showed my daughter Peanut’s song and she loved it…wants it on her iTunes! She was hoping you lived near Fort Worth but I told her I didn’t think so! She wanted a piano play date! Kids are so funny!
From one 11 year old to the next, “oh, she’s define aren’t going to get discovered!” Now were all singing it. Tell her great job. 🙂
Lots of typos above… Definitely going to get discovered!
Merry Christmas to you and yours. That was sweet as is she.
Peanut…What a thoughtful and sweet Christmas gift you gave to all of your Mom’s readers. I have so enjoyed following your blog Laura in 2013 and looking forward to all the great inspiration you will give us in 2014. Blessing for the New Year!!

I just had to comment on this…. WOW, thank you for sharing your daughter’s video with us, that is really AWESOME!!!
Her voice is beautiful, the song is great, and then on top of that…piano playing too!!!!! Again, wow!
Great job, she really could be on the radio with that song!!! I am going to sign up for e-mail following your blog…
I love your awesome DIY projects, and your home is just beautiful…so I am going to start following along!!!
p.s…. lets get Peanut on Idol, X-Factor, The Voice or something – she is way better than alot of the singers we see on there, right? and she writes songs, AND plays piano too!!
Happy holidays!
