Halloween Decorating – Quick & Easy

Quick & Easy Halloween Decorating

Sometimes, I tend to over complicate things.

Sometimes, when I take on a project – there is a tornado in my wake and then I am overwhelmed.

But, sometimes, I am in Target and see this package (for $5!)…

…and I have a quick and easy idea.

Instead of putting the vinyl decals on my walls, I put them on my plates and pitchers.

Now, I have simple Halloween decorations that only took five minutes and I don’t have to worry about my walls.

I even put one on my new tureen I found yesterday for $5.   It was on an outside table filled with dirt and water.  There is a crack – but it even has the ladle!

I simply tucked in a few Halloween candles…

…and a couple of sparkly silhouettes, and of course, some pumpkins.

And called it done.

There are bins of Halloween items that may be sad and lonely this year, but sometimes simple is the best choice!

You could do this in your dining room or your kitchen.

How about on a picture frame in your family room?

Or on a mirror in your entry or bathroom?

  1. I have never used decals. So are you saying they will damage your walls? I also see outside decals on doors will they take the paint off? Love what you did with the hutch just the right touch not over done. Enjoy your site very much. Can,t wait to see what you do for christmas.

  2. I love your beautiful cabinet with all your white pieces. It is gorgeous!!!

By any chance do you have the SKU number or item number from the wall art. I can’t seem to find it at Target but if I can give them the number they will look it up for me. Also, was this in with the Halloween decorations? Thank you for your help!

  3. PS. By the way, where do you purchase your white dishes? I have started a collection from Pottery Barn but would like to find other places as well.
