Hello friends!

I know it has been a bit since I have been around here. Not for a lack of wanting to be here, just still here trying to figure out how to "do-it-all". Thank you to those of you who have reached out to check on me or have sent messages telling me that you miss our decorating posts and ideas.

Well do I have good news for you! I am sure your already know my amazing friend KariAnne from Thistlewood Farms. Well she has written an amazing book called The DIY Style Finder featuring her home and those of four of her blogger friends‚ Yvonne Pratt (StoneGable), Bre Doucette (Rooms for Rent), Laura Putnam (me!) (Finding Home Farms), and Carmel Phillips (Our Fifth House).

In her book, KariAnne takes you on a tour representing five major design styles‚ Farmhouse, Traditional, Coastal, Transitional, and Contemporary. From the entryway to the living room to the kitchen to outdoor spaces, you'll find tips and decorating inspiration for each of these different styles‚ to encourage you to create a home that's amazingly, wonderfully, uniquely YOU.

Our home features transitional style and shares several rooms in our house. It was such a fun day to have KariAnne and her amazing team come in and style and photograph our home.

What style do you think you are? You can take this fun quiz and see what it comes up with. In case you are wondering, I took the quiz, and it did come back as transitional!
