Good Morning Friends! I finally feeling pretty much full strength after our household battle with the dreaded stomach flu. If it does nothing else, it makes you so appreciative of when you are feeling healthy. Even though it is still chilly, I am feeling a little bit of spring love here.
I would like to also take a minute and thank Better After for featuring my client’s living room transformation. Go check out her site, if you don’t already, it is a really inspiring collection of before and after projects.
Both of my Chiquitas are at school, hoping they make it through the day! Blondie never actually got sick but has not been herself, so we will see how she does.
(here she is when she was feeling better)
The first floor of my house (okay, not the laundry room!) is disinfected, cleaned and organized. I even have the guest room ready for my in-laws when they come in two weeks.
The second floor – is a pit!
Blondie’s room is in full chaos from the wallpaper removal. Which, is done by the way. Now we just need to do the wall repairs, prime, paint and then build all the furniture. Small list right?
So, today I will work on putting away laundry, disinfecting the second floor, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, you know the drill.
However, I will take time out to get my hair cut and colored. I am a gal who has short curly hair that needs regular cutting. Oh, and I have gray hair down the middle of my head like a skunk, very flattering! I have a regular date with my hairdresser to keep the gray at bay and so I don’t look like this lady.
So, while I work on the organizational side of life, I thought I would take a minute to check in with all my lovely readers.
Did you know I now have links for Twitter and Facebook? Facebook and I have been friends for a while, but Twitter is a new acquaintance of mine.
This is all made possible through a new, very much already loved friend: the iPhone.
I must admit that I did not even have internet or email on my phone until last week. I am not what one would call an “early adopter” in marketing terms. I kind of fall into the second or third wave of things, catching up, but not too far behind I hope! But now, I will be able to keep in touch with you on my journeys and throughout the day.
So, I invite you to join me! And, if you have a Twitter or Facebook account, let me know, I would love to come follow you as well.
If you would like to “like” my Facebook page, you can link up here.
To follow my Twitter account, you can link up here.
Have an amazing day, and if nothing else goes you way, at least you are not throwing up! (I hope!)

I am so glad that you are feeling better and it always feels good to get your hair done! Now you will be all freshened up to tackle your short little list! 🙂 Good luck and I can’t wait to see! I still do not have twitter, I am way far behind. 🙂
We had that rotten, yucky throw-up stuff before. What a bore! Hope everyone’s feeling fine before the week ends!

Just saw your reply in my email’s inbox. I have to chuckle. Furniture can take a real beating, and be worse off than those being rough on it through no fault of their own! I can recall a pretty area rug once……
Glad to hear of your total recovery! That stuff paid a call to my home, and was most unwelcome!
