My sweet friend KariAnne always says that one of things she loves most about being a blogger is you just never know what is going to come into your email box each day. And she is right. Sometimes you get crazy things and sometimes you get frustrating things. Sometimes you get amazing things and then they just don't work out. In between all of those things are the projects and opportunities that keep you going in this weird world of blogging. I have had the opportunity to partner with some great companies and brands. I have taken trips and attended conferences and met some of my favorite people. I get to be inspired and collaborate with some of the greatest bloggers out there. This time however, I am working on a project I never thought would happen. I am writing a book. A real book that I can actually put on our bookshelves. Wow, that feels so crazy to write. Not only am I writing a book, but it is pretty tight timeline. The publisher I am working with is planning on having the book in stores this fall. Crazy. I am not allowed to go into too many details, but I can tell you that it is a project based project book that I am hoping you will all love. The projects will be doable for the everyday DIYer and crafter and bring some great touches to your home. Don't worry, I am not planning on disappearing while I work on it. Everything should be pretty close to status quo around here, there will just be a some longer days and weekends thrown in for a few weeks. I am really glad I have adapted the seasons approach before I took this on! Of course, I couldn't share this opportunity without thanking all of you. The publisher found me through some projects I had created in the past and that would have never happened if I didn't have the forum of this blog. Thank you for encouraging me and supporting me and this crazy dream. You never know where the journey is going to take you. Thanks so much for reading! Quickpen-Signature_edited-1
