Do you ever find that once you find yourself drawn to a particular type of style, or I hesitantly say "theme", you are drawn to it again and again? When I have decorated my home for the summer in the past, I have very much enjoyed bringing in
beach touches or
Americana. But this year, I find myself drawn again and again to the simplicity of farmhouse summer style.
Instead of dreaming of sand between my toes, I keep thinking about green pastures dotted with the black and white of grazing cows and a blue sky above. So when the lovely
Kristen of Ella Claire asked me to join in with a group of talented ladies to create a free summer printable, I found myself envisioning a farm fresh milk vintage printable.
To me, it seems to be the perfect accent to a
farmhouse style kitchen. I placed mine inside of a rustic frame, but any would do, and surrounded it with a summer scented candle and my favorite salt and pepper shakers.
I printed mine on simple white card stock (and cut it down to the 8 x 10 size) but it would work on an ivory or even a colored paper to work in your space.
