I hope everyone’s weekend has been going well!

I am popping in quick hoping I can ask for a favor, some advice.

What do you think?

So, We have had a project going on here at the FH abode.

If you follow me on Pinterest, you know I have a lot of outdoor and screen porch images Pinned.

This is the reason.

A Little Help?

A dream in the making.

When we worked out the house last year, this was the part we held off on. A bit of a “Cry of Uncle”, till we could re-group.

Now, it is almost finished and I am SO excited and grateful.

From the beginning I have always said I wanted WHITE, WHITE and more WHITE.

The exterior changed a little because of material availability (there will be white capping the window screens).

The exterior wood will be stained an opaque beige that matches our garage structure.

Where I need your help is the inside.

Sorry the pictures are a little blurry, they were taken with my phone quickly.

A Little Help

There are barn beams, as you can see. My plan has always been to stain all of the wood, except the beams, with an opaque white.

A Little Help?

But now I am wondering if I should use a wood colored stain in some areas instead.

A Little Help?

A Little Help?

If I was high tech and had more time, I would install an easy peasy survey on this post, but the fact is, I have a chance to go on a date with my hubby in an hour.

So, if you would be willing to help me out and just put your opinion in the comments, I would really appreciate it.

So, here are the options:

A – All of the inside wood stained opaque white, with the exception of the beams.

B- All of the inside stained a wood color

C – Do the walls white and the ceiling a wood tone that blends with the beams.

Thanks in advance so much for your help!!!

I have several projects in the works for this porch and I am very excited to share them with you as we work on them.

Thanks and have a great night!
